PURA VIDA I is a collection of patterned solid teak wood panels produced in Costa Rica. The "pure or good life" is the theme of one of the most bio-diverse countries in the world and we are inspired by the Costa Rican climate, culture and geology to produce our patterns.

RAIN DROPS are the rain forests and rainy seasons.
SHOCK WAVES a seismic representation of earthquakes.
OFF THE GRID is an abstract representation of the back-to-nature lifestyle Costa Rica encourages.

THE WOOD IS THE STAR
Each panel is hand-carved and, because of the variety of natural wood grains, no two are alike.

• The teak wood panels are appropriate in exterior spaces that are sheltered because they withstand humidity and changes in temperature.
• The wood is completely kiln dried for maximum durability.
• Natural holes, varying color and grain patterns are part of the uniqueness that enhances the beauty of the panels.
• The handmade teak panels come in two finishes: natural with 18kt gold paint embellishing the carved patterns; and natural with soft white eco-friendly, water-based paint that allows the oils and tannins of the gorgeous wood grains to shine through.
• Stock sizes are 12 x 12 x 1" or 22 x 22 x 1". Custom sizes, 16 x 48 x 1" and private label designs are available for commercial projects with restaurants, hospitality, corporate facilities and large retailers.

For high impact, hang panels in groupings on the walls in any room including the bathroom or use them as trays, trivets, table runners or headboards. Teak wood used to make the panels is sustainably grown, harvested and fabricated by a FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified manufacturer. The women and men in the factory are compensated at a fair trade wage, working in a clean, safe facility.
